operation issues with thermostat

just needing some help 11 apartment complex and I had their maintenance guy install my nest for me. I watched him do it. He did everything correctly. The thermostat works wonderfully connect. The Wi-Fi and everything else. Only problem is when the heat is engaged it runs for 10 seconds and then shut off and then couple seconds later, it comes back on and runs for 10 seconds and then shuts itself off, and it runs for 10 seconds and shut it please help

When you tried to use the heating, it started to shortly power cycle the HVAC system; it is turning on and turning off every 10 seconds. No worries, I’m glad to help you in this.

• What is the model of the Nest thermostat that you own?
• Is there a C wire installed?
• How many wires are installed?
• What type of furnace do you have?
• When was the last time you changed the furnace’s air filter?
