I have two nest thermostats. Two google nest power connectors were professionally installed, one for each thermostat, by hvac professional.
In thermostat settings the following message appears: “this thermostat will work with your system but needs a google nest power connector or c wire to avoid potential power issues in the future”.
However, under technical info in the device information it states “Power Connector: Connected”.
Why I’m I getting contradictory information ???
Additionally, I received the following alert for one of the thermostats: “thermostat isn’t getting consistent power, we recommend installing a google nest power connector”. Again, technical information shows the power connector as being connected.
Please help.

the issues with the thermostats have not been resolved and i've received no help or guidance from google. i've come to the conclusion the product is unstable and not reliable. the only thing to do now is remove them and return for a refund. i'm extremely disappointed in google's lack of customer service.
