I keep reading where the thermostat does not turn the heat on. I have the same problem, it's intermittent and still happening I have yet to read an answer other than the stupid take it off the wall and charge it. Mine is hard wired and I 100% know it is wired correctly.

To isolate:

• Could you share a photo of your Nest Thermostat's wiring with us?
• What type of furnace do you have? (gas, electric, etc.)
• When was the last time you changed the furnace's air filter?
• Have you experienced extremely cold weather lately?

yes I have and the last response from Google was the thermostat is defective but out of warranty so my only option is to purchase a new replacement !
