thermostat battery

Best thermostat 3rd gen

low battery 

 

no instructions on how to change the batteries. 

any help?

I don’t know what generation Nest we have but the back of ours has a small usb like charger slot to plug into to charge.

How long did it take to charge?

We never were able to get it charged up even after leaving it hooked up for over an hour, we still got error messages so we took it off and put our old trusty thermostat back on…

Same here. Also trying to figure out how to change battery. USB charge did not work.

Tech support just told me battery is not replaceable. So when the battery dies so does the thermostat 😕
