trouble merging google account

I am trying to migrate to google, I can't find my 6 digit code on the thermostat.  

I have an older nest - maybe 4-5 years old?

What code are you pertaining to? Is this the entry key to have it added to your account or a PIN code to unlock your thermostat? Also, in order to migrate your Nest account to Google, I suggest that you follow the step by step guide here: https://bit.ly/3oWrVkq
