App turns white - Router setup

I’m just trying to set up the new router. My screen, when using the app to start/complete the setup, turns all white. Period. End of story. Updated the app. Rebooted the phone. Nothing. Been on hold for an hour or more with google.

Try the Google Home app from a different device (Android, iOS, iPadOS).

Good call!  Currently I'm trying it from my iphone 11.  I'll give it another shot on something else.  Thanks for the advice.

I don't really understand what the problem is. So I'll just share with you the general setup guide:

One thing I read today about Google Home app on iPhone: It might fail due to missing permissions for position and local network. So that might be a thing to check as well.

Hi,

I did get it to partially work with my wife's phone.  However, my app on my iphone 11 will not work even after I updated, deleted and reinstalled.

Lastly, can I use another router as a wifi point?  I now have two points and two routers, but I'm only using one of the routers.

Thanks,

RK

Hey, RWK780.

I just thought I would jump in real fast. If your extra router is a Google WiFi or Nest WiFi router, you can use it as an extra point on the network. Just run through the setup as a regular point and select the device. It should work great to extend your network for you.

Thanks.
