Brother Printer Setup Connection to Google Nest Failed

Hi, 

My existing iMac connects to my brother HL1210 printer via wifi.

I bought a new macbook pro.

I tried to setup the printer to be used with macbook pro, but my printer report says that that the WLAN access router cannot be detected.

What does this mean?

Sorry about the issues you're experiencing getting your printer to work correctly. I know few things can be more frustrating than a printer issue. Let's see if we can figure this out.

Regarding your printer setup, are you printing through an Apple print service, such as AirPrint, or is it entirely a WiFi printer? There are some issues that can pop up with AirPrint and saved settings looking for a previous network. The same can be true of an entirely WiFi setup, but the troubleshooting definitely differs. Let me know what you are working with and we can figure this out.
