A few months back you could go to the Home App and setup a schedule to shut off the wifi for the entire house. For example, we had a schedule where the wifi would be shut-off from 11:00pm to 4:00 am every night.
It now looks like the Home App has been updated and the only thing you can do is create a group of devices and then shut off access for the group of devices on a schedule. We are not interested in that. We want to shut off the radios themselves on a schedule for the entire house, not for specific devices. Creating a group for every device and shutting that off is still not the same feature as that is still cutting off access at the end point. We want to control the source. Are we missing something or did that functionality get removed?

I cannot recall whether it was a feature previously, however currently there is certainly no feature or setting to shut down the entire system or just the radios. As a workaround, you could achieve this by using timer plugs that power your Wifi points on and off as needed.

Hi folks,
Thanks for your help here, @David_K.
@xiqueleza, grouping specified devices and putting them on pause for a particular schedule is available, but I don’t recall a feature that allows Google Wifi or Nest Wifi devices to hide the SSID or even shut them off. I suggest you send feedback to request a feature like that. Let us know if you still have questions, as we would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Thanks,
Kimy

Thanks for all the replies. Look like the feature was taken away from the Home App 😞
