Hello,
I am attempting to update network settings while away from my office. I have used Anydesk to connect to my PC there, but I cannot access settings because the router is prompting me to go to an app. Obviously I cannot access a mobile app on my phone while not there. I'm quite sure the recommended course of action is not to use an emulated Android device on the local PC (or at least a hope not, haha).
How do I access these network settings remotely, like I have done in the past with every router made over the last 20 years? Thank you.
I also asked this to "Kamran" in the Support chat, who was less than helpful, and even recommended I login via the web portal. Below is an except from our fruitless conversation:
7:57:39 AM Kamran: It seems that your office computer is using a Google Nest Wifi system, which is designed to be managed through the Google Home app. This is why you're seeing that message when trying to access its network settings directly. 7:58:29 AM Jordan Torrealba, EIT: Yes, how do I disable this or circumvent it. 7:58:33 AM Jordan Torrealba, EIT: ?* 7:58:34 AM Kamran: Most modern routers offer a web-based interface that you can access remotely using your device's web browser. This usually requires knowing the router's IP address and having a secure connection to your home network. Steps: Find your router's IP address: Windows: Open the Command Prompt and type ipconfig. Look for the "Default Gateway" entry. Mac: Open Terminal and type ifconfig. Find the "inet" address under the "en0" or similar interface. Chromebook: Open Settings > Network > Advanced > Network settings. Find the "Gateway" address. Open a web browser: Choose a browser like Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. Enter the IP address: In the address bar, type the IP address of your router and press Enter. Log in: You'll likely be prompted for a username and password. These are usually printed on a sticker on the bottom of your router. If you've changed them, you'll need to remember the new credentials. Navigate the interface: Once logged in, you should see your router's configuration page. This might look different depending on your router's brand and model. 7:59:51 AM Jordan Torrealba, EIT: Are you joking? I already told you my gateway address and that I accessed the router

To change Google Wifi settings you'll need to use the Google Home app. There is no web interface I'm afraid.

That's so ridiculous. Where does Google get the gall to make an inferior product in this way.
So legitimately the only way would be to install a goddamn android emulator on the local PC and access the network settings that way? What a joke.
