Chromecast wifi

Hi! My Chromecast can't connect to my wifi and my wifi is visible to this device.

Everything was okay but two days ago it just disconnected and I restored the factory settings but now it doesn't see Wi-Fi at all and doesn't connect.

HELP!

Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear about the situation that you are experiencing with your Chromecast device that is not connecting to the WiFi network. But don't worry; help is here. In this case, I just need to ask for some information to provide the best assistance:

  • What Chromecast device do you have?
  • Is your streaming device within 6 meters (20 feet) or as close as possible to the Wi-Fi router?
  • Do you try to connect the device to the WiFi by manually typing the name and password?
