Connecting 2 Goolge Wifi routers

Damo14

Hi all,

New member here.  I have recently installed Google Nest cameras and hub and am enjoying them.  I am thinking about moving into Google Nest Wifi to link everything together.

One Nest router is not quite 'strong 'enough for my home I suspect so will need to extend the range.  Here in NZ we don't sell Points anywhere!  So, my question is whether I can use another Nest router to extend my signal but connect it wirelessly.  I have no ethernet capability to connect the additional router in the desired location.

Thanks for the advice!

According to the Nest help website, using two Nest routers with one acting as an Access Point is doable. You will need to setup your primary router and then add the other router as an AP after you have an established Nest network. Assuming the router and AP aren't too far from each other, you should see some pretty decent performance from the tri-band capabilities Nest brings.
