Connecting a Google Wifi Nest via an ATT Netgear Nighthawk M6

So I’m trying to connect my relatively new Google Wifi Nest to an AT&T Netgear mobile hotpot (Nighthawk M6). I connected the white Ethernet cable (I think that’s what it’s called), but it doesn’t seem to recognize it.  I’ve tried messing with various settings on the nighthawk mobile hotspot, but no luck so far.  Suggestions?

Here are the WAN types Nest Wifi supports:

Nest Wifi often struggles with double NAT, sometimes it doesn't work at all. Thus the ISP equipment in front should be set to bridge mode / bypass mode / IP passthrough mode. More on what double NAT means and why to avoid it:

Past threads specifically about Nighthawk M6 that might be useful:

If you have more questions about using Nighthawk M6 with third party routers, ask Netgear or your ISP.

I don't work for Google.
