Existing Wired Devices on FIOS Router Don't Talk to Nest Wifi Devices

I have a Fios_Quantum_Gateway with a wired desktop, LaserJet printer, NAS and a Nest Wifi Router plugged in.  iI turned off the wireless on the Fios_Quantum_Gateway and set up the Nest Wifi Router but now my wired desktop can't access the inkjet printer that is on the Wifi.  Can I still use the 3 other wired ports on the Fios_Quantum_Gateway or do I have to get a new switch and plug that into my Nest Wifi Router (and plug my 3 wired devices into that new switch)?

"... or do I have to get a new switch and plug that into my Nest Wifi Router (and plug my 3 wired devices into that new switch)?"

  • Correct.

Be sure to get an unmanaged switch. More info:
