I am experiencing the same issue as https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Nest-Wifi/Failed-to-update-blocking-Policy/m-p/41991
First, it appears that the Family Wifi Schedules and groups appear to have no effect. (I've disabled MAC randomization on the target devices). All devices in the groups never lose their wifi access
I am using Google Home iOS app.
I then tried to test this by manually pausing the groups. But each time I try, I get this error
The app then shows that group as paused ("unpause" link /button appears), but wifi works just fine on the devices in that group. Pause/unpause seems to have no effect.
This has been tried on iOS devices and Macbook laptops. None of them pause regardless of what I try.
Any suggestions on how to resolve?
Thanks

I bought an Android tablet to see if that would help. While it let me see more settings than iOS, it also wouldn't let me change them.
I had to do a factory reset of all my points and reconfigure everything. Pause and schedules worked after that.
I really wish there was a way to backup (and restore) a configuration as it took several hours to do the whole process, as I have numerous DHCP reservations and other settings.

Hi, csepulv.
Sorry for all the frustration you had getting this sorted out. It's definitely more a of a process to do a factory reset when you have those DHCP reservations and advanced settings to set back up. I can pass your suggestion along about the backup and restore functionality to our internal teams as feedback. Before I mark this as resolved, feel free to let me know if there's anything else you need here.
Thanks.
