I have a generation one three pack of Google mesh points. I have one that is physically connected to my main home router, and I have two others that act as mesh Network points in different rooms. My first problem is that I cannot see any of the devices when I click on my Google home app and search for devices. I am positive that I did not set these up on a different user account because I have used the same one to set up Google Chromecast and I can still see those two devices. Also, my first of two mesh points is flashing dark blue like it wants to be set up but no matter what I do I can't set it up and since I can't see it in my devices I'm not sure what's happening. My second mesh point is working just fine and the network associated with this 3 Puck setup is working fine, I can connect to it and use the internet. Any assistance will be appreciated.

Hi @tron67j,
It sounds like you're encountering a few issues with your Google Wifi mesh network. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the missing devices and the flashing blue mesh point:
For all mesh points:
Restart Everything: Power down your main router, all Google Wifi mesh points, and your modem (if separate) for about 2 minutes. Then, power them back on one at a time, waiting for each device to fully boot up before turning on the next. This can sometimes resolve temporary connection glitches.
Check the Google Home App:
Verify Wi-Fi Network:
For the flashing blue mesh point:
Factory Reset:
Re-add the Mesh Point:
Additional Tips:
By following these steps, you should hopefully be able to see your mesh points in the Google Home app and resolve the issue with the flashing blue point. If the problem continues after trying these suggestions, it might be helpful to contact our Google Wifi support for further troubleshooting.
Best,
Brandon.

Thank you, a couple of these things help me get my final puck working again. However, I did learn one thing when I called Google support earlier today. Unfortunately we got connected, but through trial and error. I have learned that what they said was true, certain pixel phones cannot be used to scan in the devices after a factory reset. I have a pixel 7 pro that is my current phone and no matter what I tried including all the above I could not get that work my Google home app to learn the devices after I did the factory reset. However, when I tried my pixel 4a 5G it worked the first time. The Google support specialist said that I should try a tablet, but I don't own one so that was impossible. Can't do it from a laptop either. Kind of a bit of a design flaw, especially since the pixels that have been released more recently won't do all the functions of Google home. Just to share, the problem I kept running into was when I tried to scan the QR code on the back of the pock it kept telling me the code was incorrect.

It's unfortunate to hear about the trouble you had with the Pixel 7 Pro. It sounds like there might be a compatibility issue with scanning QR codes for setup after a factory reset.
One could understand why you'd see this as a design flaw. Ideally, all Pixel phones should be compatible with Google Home features. You could consider sending us your feedback about this limitation.
Once we've addressed this, let me know if there's anything else I can help you with regarding setting up your puck, or using Google Home?
Regards,
Brandon.

I will send the feedback, but it was the Google support person I spoke to who told me that this limitation affects certain Pixels. I just know my 7 Pro was impacted but my 4a5g wasn't, I did same steps in both so know it wasn't me.
