Google Home Nest Point drama

hello, 

this is getting the better of me!

I have set up the google home app, I have set up the google nest router. Can I add the google nest point, no I cannot!

I have clicked "add new device" on the app, it detects the point, yay! It then asks for me to scan the QR code or enter the 8-digit setup code. There are neither of these on the Point. What am I doing wrong? Someone please help!!!

I have taken photos of the google point, but I can't see that I can attach.

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest community.. I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems scanning the QR code or finding the set up code to set up your Nest WiFi point, but there's no need to worry; I'm happy to help you right now.

Each Google Nest WiFi point has a unique QR code printed on a label on the bottom of the device. When setting up a new router or point, you need to scan this code with your phone’s camera in order to connect your phone to the device.
