The I bougth 3 new Wifi pro (Wifi 6) units and the where configuered and everithing seamed good. Then I realize that the the Google nest wifi pro reboots several times a day. I googlet the problem tried to solve it, unchecked the IPV6 and sat the DNS to the Google ones. Then it got a bit better, but still it reboots 4-6 times a day.

Firmware version is 3.73.424613

Anybody have any ideas tocorrect this?

Hi TheoneStig,

Thanks for posting in the community! I understand how inconvenient it can be when your Nest WiFi Pro device is rebooting several times a day. Help's here!

I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this situation. To better investigate the inconvenience, I’d like to confirm the following details:

  • Are you experiencing the same inconvenience with all three Nest WiFi Pro devices?

In the meantime, please try changing your DNS settings:

  • Open the Google Home app.
  • Tap Favorites, then WiFi, then Network Settings, and finally Advanced Networking.
  • Tap DNS.
  • Choose your desired public DNS server:
  • Primary server: 8.8.8.8
  • Secondary server: 8.8.4.4

If these steps don't resolve the issue, try changing your static IP address. You may need to contact your internet service provider (ISP) for assistance with this. For instructions, you can see this article: DHCP IP reservation or set a static IP address for a device.

Let me know how it goes.

Best regards,

Jenniffer
