We are going to try the T-Mobile Gateway internet at a new address. There is a promotion for Nest Wifi routers with the T-Mobile Gateway. It says you need at least two "devices", and only routers are offered there, no points.
Does anyone know if we would need two Nest routers for that?
At our existing address, we currently have a Google Nest Router connected to two points, with the router connected to a cable modem (Spectrum), and that works well. Can we not use the same set up with the T-Mobile Gateway?
If we are going to use a multiple Nest router set up, can they all be on one network, with the additional routers working as points essentially? And do all the routers need to be hardwired, or only the first one?
The new place is two stories and about 1600' in size.
Thank you for any insights!

Nest Wifi will work with just 1x Nest Wifi router, no problem. Whether you need more than one depends. See following relevant guidance from Google:

Thank you for the responses, olavrb and Jhonleanmel.
I did read the linked items, I am still trying to figure out if additional nest routers will also work as points (not connected by ethernet)? T-Mobile has a deal on multiple routers, but doesn't sell points that way. For our place (1600 feet and two stories), we will definitely need more than just one router. Thank you in advance for any insights on this.

Hey there,
Thanks for your interest, Slothrop. You can set up the Google Nest Wifi router as one of the wireless child/access points.
Let us know if you have additional concerns ― we’d love to help.
Cheers,

Thank you so much for your help! Based on your answer it makes sense to me now. I will be trying to set up the system in the next couple of days — with one main router connected by ethernet to the modem, and two additional routers used as wireless points. If I have any trouble I’ll be back.
