Help, I've had my Google Next AC2200 for a few years, and we need an extender to get a better signal throughout the house. Should I upgrade and get a whole new kit or just add an extender? Since we have had it for a few years, I'm not sure what the best move is. Can anyone advise? Specific recommendations on what to buy are very appreciated. Thank you.

Hello tLITTLE,
Thanks for connecting with the community, Let's explore some solutions together.
Adding a Wi-Fi Extender is a viable option however, it's important to consider that adding an extender can sometimes introduce signal quality reduction and potential speed limitations.
Upgrading to a Mesh Wi-Fi System could be a more comprehensive solution, especially for larger homes with significant dead zones. The newer Nest Wifi Pro system offers the advantage of faster top speeds compared to your current Google Nest AC2200.
You can see on this page the comparison between these 2 models.
Ultimately, the best choice depends on your specific needs. Let me know if you need more assistance replying to this post. We are happy to help you.
