Google WiFi

Is there any point to Google WiFi in the UK where routers are almost without exception combined with a modem and are supplied by BT, Plusnet, Sky or Virgin?

I sometimes wonder about Google and how hard they find adjusting their US centric view of the world to the real world..

That is not dissimilar from the US. The heart of the issue is that the supplied hardware is often quite poor. What is the quality of hardware typically supplied in the UK?

The broadband router supplied as part of a Plusnet package does not have WiFi strong enough to cover the whole of my house and patio. I have installed Google Wifi and just two devices cover the whole house

ISP AIO boxes are jack of all trades, master of none.

I don't work for Google.

Hi, briesmith.
Just one quick final check in here. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.
Thanks.
