Google Wifi 3 pack just installed

Boog

I just purchased the 3 pack.  New to google home app and I have no other product to manage in the app.  Issue is that everything went okay with downloading the app on my phone hooked router to a new upgraded modem and installed the two other points elsewhere.  All were up and running, (FOR A DAY).  Main router is orange and all are offline.   Reset modem and reconnected the router and points and again worked for less than a day.   I have hard wired internet to my computer and all is working with the modem internet signal.     I cannot have the internet cutting off through the wifi.   I originally had an old Lynskys modem and never dropped the internet at all.  Needed to provide upstairs wifi for tv streaming on a dumb tv.  SHOULD I JUST RETURN THE SYSTEM TO THE STORE AND PURCHASE ANOTHER BRAND ROUTER????    HELP PLEASE...

Hi, Boog.
Sorry for the late response here and for the issues you're having with the WiFi network. I can definitely understand how frustrating your situation must be. I just wanted to check in and see if you still needed some help on this. Also, I do have some questions.

  • When the WiFi is dropping out, how long does it take to return, or will it not return until you reset things?
  • Have you ran a mesh test in the Home app? If so, what is the signal strength at your individual WiFi points?

I look forward to hearing back from you and working this out. Thanks.
