Google Wifi Mac Address

I have a device that has stopped communicating.  I am trying to locate it in my list of devices by MAC address if possible.  Is there a way to view connected devices by MAC instead of IP?  Or a way to figure out which line item in the app is the device in question?

It is a protocol adapter and I am not able to interrogate it directly.  The only info I have for it is the last 6 of the MAC address.

Hi

Thanks for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry to hear that your Google WiFi has stopped communicating and you are trying to locate the MAC address instead of the IP. I'm happy to assist you right now.

Can you please confirm if you already tried these steps in the Google Home app?

  • Tap Favorites or Devices WiFi.
  • Tap Devices.
  • Choose a device to check for the MAC address details.

If you don't see MAC address with these steps, you can try to look at the sticker located at the bottom of the Google WiFi device.

Feel free to keep us posted if you have more questions.

Regards,

Gabriela
