Google, if you're listening - please for the love of dog update the software and firmware so people can disable the 5ghz band for a while. WE NEED THIS to setup IoT devices. There are clunky work arounds, most that involve buying a different router just to do this simple thing, but why? Why is this hard for you? If you think it will cause more issues if people forget to reenable 5ghz then just put it on a timer - give us the option to disable 5ghz for 15 minutes or an hour. So many issues solved if you do this. End rant.
