Does anybody know if Google is working on this known issue? I have had to disconnect my google nest and revert back to an old wifi router to maintain a stable connection. From what I have read it that the issue is a firmware issue with the google nest product. I am not really happy that I spent good money for a product that does not work.

I've had similar problems because of a nest "point" i added to my network. I didn't realize in August that it was making the connection drop because it was in an area of our house that had poor reception. I moved it and eventually noticed it was making our whole network crawl even. Our connection would start at 20mb, then 3mb, then .5mb using a speed test service. If i don't use the point, our network is fine. I contacted Google yesterday and they won't refund their crappy product even thought it's only been 6 months. What happened to 1 year product warranty? What a joke. I bought a TP-Link and giving up on Google Hardware products.

I have the same problem. They sent a replacement router and it doesn't work. I tried multiple times myself to set it up and then spent an hour and 15 minutes on a call with support. They couldn't get it to work either. Now they say my replacement is past due and they charged me almost $200 for the replacement. These guys are awful. Will never buy their product again because of their terrible customer support. They even ran a diagnostic test and said that the problem is their hardware. Now I'm $500 in and no one will return my email. I guess I will try another product.

Hi, jnjfillion.
Sorry for the issues you're having with your network. Yes, this is a known issue that's being worked on by internal teams. I know it's frustrating and I hope we get news soon of a fix to be rolled out. I'll update things here as I learn more.
Thanks.

Hey, everyone.
As an update for you all, I wanted to let you know that we have a firmware update coming out now. Some people may have already received the update, but most will see it coming still. Everyone will have it before the end of April. If you receive that update and don't see an improvement in your issues here, please let me know and we can keep looking into things.
Thanks.

Hey, all.
Just as a bit of added info, the update version for both Google WiFi and Nest WiFi will be 14150.43.80. If you are seeing a different version number when you check in Google Home, you have yet to receive the updated firmware. Let me know if you have any questions about that.
Thanks.
