Bonjour,

Hello @matiasjorge
Do you have a single Google WiFi unit, or is there a mesh secondary in the system as well? WiFi will slow down at longer distances, but if your phone is "handing off" between multiple access points as you move around (and an iPhone should do that nicely), it may take 30 to 60 seconds for a hand-off to happen. If you run a benchmark too soon after moving, you may be measuring performance to the old access point (and during the hand-off).
Even if you only have one access point, there are two bands: 2.4GHz and 5GHz. The 2.4GHz band has longer range, but slower performance than 5GHz. So, as you move further away from an access point, your phone may drop from 5GHz to 2.4GHz. Just like a hand-off between access points, it may take 30 to 60 seconds for it to switch back to 5GHz when you come closer again.

Hi, matiasjorge.
I just wanted to drop in real quickly to see if you saw MichaelP's response and to see if there was anything else you needed. If you still need help, just let me know.
Thanks.

Hi, everyone.
As we haven't had any activity here recently I'm going to go ahead and close the thread. If you have more to add, feel free to start a new discussion.
Thanks
