How to find or unknown reset password

So my question is how do I get a password for a Nest Wifi router that was a gift and never used by the giver nor do they recall a password as they never opened the product after purchase and it's been quite some time since said purchase? I have the Google Home app but don't see a way to reset a password. Now that poses a second question... do I need to create a Nest Wifi account in order to make these changes? Please help!!😊😊😊

If the product was never opened or used, it does not have a password, setup does not require a password. What happens when you try setup?

Set up Google Nest Wifi - Google Nest Help

You need a Google account with the Google Home app on an iOS or Android device for setup. Full requirements are listed in the get started section of the article linked above.
