The nest wifi should update itself automatically as new versions are released. Would suggest rebooting both the router as well as your modem to see if that clears up the issue. If it does not, test a hard wired device directly from the modem to see if the speed is slow right from the internet provider, it could be an provider issue as well
It's a mobile app that you would use with your phone, there really isn't a web interface for these routers. You would have used it to set up the router initially
Several articles say to download the Google Home App. I can not find it in the Apple Store, thus, I can not do anything on my Mac mini desktop, only my iPad and iPhone.
It's not a desktop app it is only for mobile devices so yes you would run it on your iPhone or iPad. The speed test will measure your networks performance. Since your iPad is working well on wifi, I suspect the performance issue is actually your Mac mini.
Can you tell me the results of your speed test on your iPad..and the same result on your Mac mini?
I just wanted to hop in real fast and see if you were still seeing this. It looks like your speed tests are good, so I'm hoping it might have been a hiccup in performance. If you're still seeing issues, please let me know and we can look more into this.

When I run the speed test on my iPad, it is exactly where it should be. When I run it on my Mac mini, it is very slow, less than half the normal speed and what I'm getting on my tablet.
