I am having issues adding a new wifi point to my existing google wifi mesh. I have not been able to test my internet connection, mesh connection, or anything else since November of 2021. I have read many threads previously but nothing seems to work to fix this problem.

Are you using the Google Home app?

Make sure you're logged in with the same Google account in the Google Home app as the old Google Wifi app.
Worst case: Factory reset all your Google Wifi points (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/6246619?hl=en) and set up your network from scratch in the Google Home app (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9548301?hl=en). If you use the same network name (SSID) and password as your existing network, all devices should reconnect automatically.

I just wanted to jump in real fast to see if you saw olavrb's reply and to see if you still needed some help on this or if you were able to get it sorted out. If you are still needing some help, just let us know and we'll be happy to continue helping.

The problem has gone away.
All that was needed was to reset the whole wifi system by unplugging the modem and all google wifi devices both the hub and access points across the house.
