Loses internet connection periodically. Software version 14150.43.81

Over the past two weeks I have noticed our google nest periodically saying offline and speeds are incredibly low.  Sometimes it will say no wifi internet.   After a few minutes it will reconnect and speeds are fine.  Then it does it again and constantly my streaming app on TV buffers.  Is there something with the latest software version creating this issue?  It’s very frustrating.

I've had that issue since I had mine connected.  Even had the heating and air guy look at it and was supposed to be fixed.  But at least once or twice a week it will go offline and stay offline until I take the batteries out and put them back in.  Very frustrating so hoping to try whatever suggestions come from your question.

I'm having the same issue with this same software version on my Google Nest Wifi. I've confirmed that my Internet provider connection (AT&T Fiber) and hardwired connections to the router are working fine - this is a Wifi connectivity problem. Wifi signals drop to single digits on both download and upload, everything loses connections and drops signals, then magically it will come back minutes or hours later. Google please fix this!

Hi all,

Sorry for the connection instability you're seeing on your network. We're actually seeing several reports of this right now and I've been in touch with an internal team about the issue. I'm hoping to hear something soon about what's happening and what we can do in regards to troubleshooting. As soon as I know more, I'll update the thread.

Thanks,

Jeff

Hey everyone,

While I'm still waiting for feedback on this specific issue, I did notice that a new firmware update is coming for the WiFi products. That update will be rolling out soon, and it may help with this and other performance hiccups. If you receive this update and notice a change in any way, please let us know here and we can start tracking progress from there.

Thanks,

Jeff

Hey all,

I wanted to check in again and see if you saw the news about the upgraded firmware release coming soon. If you have any questions about that firmware, please let me know.

Thanks,

Jeff

When exactly is the update expected to be made available and will it be automatically updated?

Hi dbake01,

The update is happening now. It rolls out in waves to devices over the next 3 weeks and you don't need to do anything to receive it. Your device will automatically download and install the update when it's available. Most often the update will occur overnight as it requires a system reboot, which it will perform on its own. I don't have the new software version number yet, but I'll share that when I have it.

Thanks,

Jeff

The issue I know is real. My computer loses internet connection periodically, and I'm getting tired of fiddling my way around the networking configuration to get it fixed.  I prefer to check this https://rubygarage.org/services/web-app-design-services and get more new ways for mobile application companies. The software version of Windows mentioned in this answer is one that's known for causing trouble, so here are directions on how you can fix your own internet connection problem.

Periodically, I face the frustration of losing internet connection, disrupting my workflow and communication. It's a recurring issue that hampers productivity. However, amidst this struggle, I recently stumbled upon a silver lining. While searching for a solution, I discovered that 7mm prc brass in stock. Though unrelated, this availability brings hope that the remedy for my connectivity woes could be just around the corner.

Quick update on my end - since I do work from home, I could not long deal with the random interruptions in zoom calls. I’ve since bought another router (netgear) and have had zero connection issues since then.

My router has still not been updated with the new software version and I continue to experience random network drops and performance issues. Google please fix this - otherwise we will all be replacing your devices with something that actually works!

When it comes to software, I always try to find the latest version. However, recently my internet connection was dropping frequently and without any clear reason. I can say that to get briansclub and promote their crypto skills. It was worrying me so I decided to upgrade my firmware and see if that fixed the problem. After upgrading the firmware, I encountered no issues with losing the internet connection again. So it's good that this article exists even though I haven't yet found an error with this version of the software.
