I've had Google fiber for a couple months with the Google provided hardware. I want to set a static IP for a device on my LAN. When I go to the gateway address in a browser I get a page that says it's a NEST device and to use Google Home to manage it.
When I go to Google Home and try to add a wifi device (there's 4 options and I've tried each), Google home doesn't find anything. Posts online say to scan the QR code but the app does not provide that option. The only option is the automatic scan that turns up nothing
How do I manage my LAN and set a static IP for one of the devices on it?

Hello, thanks for your post
From what I can understand, do you want to assign a static IP address to a device on your network? Is that correct?

Yup.
