My Nest Wifi stopped working and can't be set up again.

I get all the way to the end of setting up my wifi points and then get a message "Can't communicate with the device" .
I have tried all the suggestions- Factory reset, forget the network, unplug the devices, reinstall the Home app, etc.

Nothing works. HELP!!!

I just had the same issue, got this message on 2 attempts on a factory reset to set up on a new wi-fi system. =Something went wrong. The app is having trouble connecting to your Nest Guard. TRY AGAIN=

Thanks. It has happened 6 times to me. How did you get it resolved?

Mine hasn't been fixed

device factory reset and it resolved the problem. There is a small circle on the bottom of the device. Press and hold this 'button" for about 15 seconds until it confirms the reset. Then I re-tried and everything worked.

I had the same thing happen. Reached out to Google nest, they told me to buy a new nest. It can’t be fixed! So frustrated.

I fixed it with a 'factory reset" on the device. On the nottom.of the point there is a little circlular button. Push it for about 15 seconds until it confirms the factory reset. Then try again and it will connect.
