NEST PRO NOT WORKING WITH UNMANAGED SWITCH

Had set up a wired backhaul that work perfectly. Unmanaged switch in place, bridge mode on the ISP and worked without a yellow light nor any cut for a month. Suddenly smart tvs lost signal (wired through the switch) and then the access points (2 of them, I have 3) showed a yellow light on and off. It was a sudden change on the network. Any ideas?

What specific switch? There exists unmanaged switches with conflicting features like loop detection/prevention.

Does it work if you plug a PC straight to the Nest Wifi unit LAN port, bypassing the switch? Just to make sure the LAN port ain't dead.

Yes it does. Unplugged from the ac the switch during the night, plugged back on and started working again. Really strange that suddenly all wired devices stop working while wifi was working fine. Lan to the nest router was also good.

If it happens again, please tell us what switch you got.

Hi! Back again bothering. Sorry for that. So again suddenly all access points wired through the switch are down. Same goes with smart tvs. Tried to plug a computer with a lan wire to the main nest router and it worked perfectly. Got the network and got access really fast and sustained.

The problem is on the switch that goes down on a random basis.

Model is tp link TL-SG116

Try a different switch? The one you got should be good feature wise, but maybe it's bad, damaged.
