I bought my Google Wi-Fi + 3 points in January 2022 and in the last 4-6 weeks the router keeps dropping.
Ive confirmed with my ISP there’s no service issues.
tonight for example, it is dropping for 1-2 minutes every 5-10 minutes. It’s dropped twice while I’ve been typing this. I’ve restarted it and it’s good for maybe 45 minutes after each restart.
Any ideas? I’ve read some things about the software update, but I’m tempted to just return it because it’s actually ridiculous atm.

Hey Emmahhh,
I'm sorry for the trouble this may have caused you— let's see what's going on.
Are you using a modem/router combo from your Internet Service Provider (ISP)? What devices are having this issue? Also, how are you restarting your network?
Give these steps a try:
Set a custom DNS at 8.8.8.8 on the primary and 8.8.4.4 on the secondary server. Hit the save/ floppy disk icon on the upper right.
Unplug the power from your Google Wifi devices for 2 minutes.
If the issue persists, try factory resetting your network.
Let us know how it goes.
Best,
Mel

Hi there - I’m in australia, so the Google nest router plugs into the nbn modem/box and I have 3 additional points connected.

We all have that, you will find many posts here of people complaining. only way to make it work: throw them away and buy a different system, te Nest support is totally clueless.
