Nest Wifi Pro as AP

Hi,

I have three Nest Wifi Pro's. I want to make sure the connection to all of them is as strong as possible. Without cable they all lose some speed. Therefore I want to put an ethernet cable directly from my fiber box to each of those three. Still, I want it to function as one network, just cabled to each of the devices.

Is this doable?

Thanks,

Hi @alexjonsson

Yes, you are able to connect the Wifi Pro devices by using an ethernet cable. 😊
The best setup is by using a small unmanaged network switch to connect all the devices.

@olavrb created a very useful image to create such network.

Hi @alexjonsson

You connect your fiber box to the WAN port of one of your Google Nest Wifi Pro devices.

So it should be like this:

Fiber box --> Wan port Google Nest Wifi Pro 1

LAN port Google Nest Wifi Pro 1 --> unmanaged switch

WAN port Google Nest Wifi Pro 2 --> unmanaged switch

WAN port Google Nest Wifi Pro 3 --> unmanaged switch

Printer --> unmanaged switch

Thanks a lot, sounds good. I'm a little confused about this image. If I connect a printer and a computer directly to my fiber box, I guess I won't have them working on the same network as the Wifi Pro devices, meaning for example that I wouldn't be able to print over WiFi .
