Nest Wifi

Are you still able to connect to your main internet providers router if you are using the mesh system my family still wants to use our main providers router we don't care about speed issues it may cause and the points will be in a different room

Hi, zJays.

While what you're asking is possible, it can cause some issues with interference or possible double NAT issues. It's recommended to disable the modem's wireless network when you set up your Nest WiFi, but you can definitely test it out to see if it works for you. Just know that if you are running into difficulties, disabling the modem's wireless signal can help. If there's anything else I can do for you, just let me know.
