Router has no internet access

So the internet was out from 9am to 10pm yesterday, due to a outage in my area. Now my router does not connect to the network. Still no internet! Any ideas? Placed a ticket for assistance with a call back still waiting on the call. I have pushed the reset button on the router still nothing. I factory reset the router from the Google home app, nothing. Any ideas??

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your internet connection. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

 

  • How many Google Wi-Fi points do you have?
  • What is the light status of your Google Wi-Fi?
  • Since you did a factory reset on your devices, have you tried setting them up again?

Hey Edward!

So after the technician came out Sunday morning, found out it is not my modem,  router or access point in the living room. It's the Fiber optic cable that is underneath the earth. So because I did a factory reset on my app I can not add my router or my Google access point in the living room until I get my service back running, after the other construction team can repair the issue. So it's now been 4 days no internet, and yeah just got to wait now.
