Set up 2.4 g hz devices

How do I set up devices such as light bulbs that only respond to 2.4 g hz ?

Hi, Jock.

Thanks for posting your question to the community. The way the WiFi works for the Google and Nest WiFi is that both the 5GHz and 2.4GHz bands run simultaneously on the network. During setup of a device, they should connect to the band that is required by the device automatically.

Are you having any issues setting anything up currently? If so, what are they and can you describe what is happening when it fails? If you can give me a few more details I'm sure we can work out any issues you're seeing.
