I reset my android tablet and now am unable to find the Google Home app that's compatible with Android 7.0. I had it before wiping my tablet and it was working fine. How am I supposed to control my Google Wi-Fi now??

Seems v2.52 was last to support older than Android 8:

Found from this list:

That said, I hope you don't use that tablet for anything important, like banking or payment. Running something that was end of life so many years ago is not safe. Other alternatives:

  • Use Google Home from a different Android, iOS or iPadOS device, just log in with the same Google account.
  • Look for 3rd party ROMs for your tablet, like LineageOS if it's supported. Then you might be able to run newer and safer Android.
  • Chrome OS is said to be able to run Android apps. Try the free version of Chrome OS, "Flex" on an old computer or in a VM in Hyper-V, VMWare or similar, and see if you can get the Google Home app working from there.
  • Windows has "Windows Subsystem for Android", WSA for short. See if you can sideload the Google Home app with that.

I don't work for Google.
