There's no Wi-fi Button in IOS Google Home App

So I have been having this issue for about 2 days now and I really need some help. I have several Google Wi-Fi devices around the house and everything was working perfectly when the Google Wi-Fi app was around. Since the app's closure, we never had a problem with the Wi-Fi and we never formally imported the information into Google Home because we never knew about the app's closure.

2 days ago, my dad and I were trying to connect a Generac Generator to the Wi-Fi but couldn't find our Google Wi-fi in their setup app. Since then, we have been trying to connect our existing, still working Google Wi-Fi pods to the Google Home app but not only are they not showing up, but there is a lack of wi-fi settings or a wi-fi button anywhere.

Is there a way to connect a pre-existing Google Wi-Fi pod to the Home app today or do we have to resort to factory resetting each and every Wi-Fi pod? We would rather avoid factory resetting.

Have you tried the instructions in here to import your Google Wifi into the Google Home app? I believe you're supposed to still have read-only access to the Google Wifi app for a while yet so importing should still work.

If that's not working then a factory reset of all devices would be needed and you'd have to set them all up from scratch in Google Home.

I'm pretty sure your going to have to factory reset\remove\add them since the only way to control them isn't seeing them.

Hi folks,

@Juzdu and Spaghetti69, thanks for the help!

@StormAtom33, how's it going with your Google Wifi? Were you able to try the troubleshooting steps that Juzdu provided?

Thanks,

Edward

Yes I tried Juzdu’s steps and no it didn’t work. We ended up factory resetting each Google Wifi device and everything is working like a charm.

Thanks for the tips!

Hi, everyone.
Just one quick final check in here since activity has slowed down. We'll be locking the thread in the next 24 hours, but if you still need help, I would be happy to keep it open. If there's more we can do, just let me know.
Thanks,
