Unable to pause & unpause devices?

Has anyone had problems not being able to pause internet access for a device? Previously I could but now when I pause or attempt to unpause a device I get an error and request to come back later.

i reset the network but this hasn’t resolved the problem 

 

anybody else with the same problem?

Thanks for reaching out here in the community! I'm sorry to hear that you're not being able to pause or unpause a device to get internet access, and you're getting an error to request later. I'd be happy to help!

I also appreciate the workaround already done. To continue investigating the inconvenience, I'd like to ask the following details:

  • What is the model of your WiFi router and modem?
  • What is the firmware version of your WiFi router?
  • Is the device in question connected to the correct network?
  • Is your own device the one that has access to the Google Home app paused? 
  • Are you using an Android or iPhone mobile device?

For now, I'd suggest the following steps:

  • Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Google Home app.
  • Ensure you have the latest version of your mobile device software.
  • Perform a reboot on your mobile device to refresh the connection.
  • If there's access to another device with the Google Home installed, resume the paused device from there.
