When attempting to set up the device, the Google Home app can see the device, when prompted to join the network for setup, I am able to do so, however the app doesn't see the connection. The app reads "Connection failed, Couldn't connect to device. Try again or tap help for more solutions." Pressing "Try Again" merely gets the same result. The help articles don't correct the issue.
Aside from that, when I back out of the app, the phone running the app has connected to the network and has connection to the internet through the google wifi device. However I need to configure in the app so I can change the network name and password. Any help would be appreciated.
Other details:
Device (along w 5 others) is being setup in my mother-in-law's house but was previously used in my home and connected to my app/account. I have since upgraded my network.
Devices have been reset and have sat idle for > 6 months without being used.
Never had any issues with these devices previously.
