Why isn’t my second nest point connecting?

Hi, I had to factory reset my network, my nest wifi router is working fine, my first nest point is working fine but the secind one does not connect to wifi - it fails connecting on the last step

Sorry for the issues you're having getting your points set up. That sounds like a frustrating experience. Let's look at this and see how we can get things working fully for you.

I do have a few questions that will help us narrow down a fix.

• When the setup fails, are you getting an error message? If so, what does it say?
• If you set the points up in a different order (the one failing before the one that was successful), does it fail on the first point or still the second?
• Is the placement of each point the same as it was before the factory reset?
• With just the router and first point, are you getting a strong connection result when you perform a mesh test?
