Wireless printing: HP LaserJet M1217 and google mesh nest

I have a new PC running windows 11; I have an old but functional HP LaserJet M1217; the printer works when wired.  trying to set up wireless, printer says NO WPS ROUTER FOUND.  how can i get around this>

Google Wifi and Nest Wifi don't support WPS, as it's not secure.

I'd recommend checking the HP support website for your printer. You can often download HP software on your PC which can be used to give the printer your Wi-Fi network information whilst it is wired to your PC.
