I installed 6 nest pro wifi mesh network. wifi router is in my master bedroom. one of wifi points is installed in my computer room. I tried to connect wifi point and my pc using ethernet cable. So, I connceted ethernet cable to wifi point's inbound port and my pc's ethernet port.
But I couldn't use internet in my pc.
Is there any setting to use nest pro wifi point's inbound port?

Hey @dklee .
Either Ethernet port should work on the point to provide internet connection.
Can you provide more information?
And just FYI, Google doesn't recommend more than 5 WiFi devices on a single network: How many Nest Wifi Pro, Nest Wifi, or Google Wifi routers or points do I need?

Hi Patrick.
Thank you for your answer.
I have 6 nest pro wifi, 1 is for router and other 5 are wifi point. I connected widi router to my internet modem and set-up wifi point wirelessly. One of wifi point is in my cpmputer room and I tried to connect wifi point and my PC using ethernet cable using wifi point inbound port. After connection there is message on my PC that can not connect internet and can’t use internet actually. Is there something wroung in my set-up?

Thanks Patrick,
- When I connect ethernet cable between wifi point and my PC, the light is flashing with yellow color
- My PC is only device that I tried to connect to wifi point using ethernet cable
- I tried to connect my PC only with ethernet cable, but my PC has wifi too
- I didn't check any other devices

Hey @dklee .
If the point has a flashing yellow/orange light, there is no internet connectivity on the point (Wifi device light meanings: Understanding LED indicators ).
You will need to remove the point from the Google Home app and do a hard reset (Factory reset your Wifi device ). Then re-add it back to the home and verify connectivity, first via light indicator then via wifi/wired with a device.
Let me know if the reset and adding it back fixes the issue or if you need additional assistance.

Thank you for your support. I checked ohter wifi point inbound ethernet connections with my laptop and found the connections are good. So, I checked wifi point connected to my pc again.
I found that the network connection quatily is very poor at the position where wifi point were placed. I thought it's ok cause when I tested mesh connection Goolge Home app show all mesh connections are fine. I move wifi router and wifi point and the inbound connection problem solved.
Thanks again, Patrick
