Thank you for posting in the community. I understand you're having some inconveniences setting up your Nest Learning Thermostat (3rd gen). I'm more than glad to assist you.
To better understand the reason why you're experiencing this, please provide the information below:
- Has the device been paired before?
- How far have you gotten in pairing your device?
- How far is the device from the router?
- Can you connect to the internet with other devices?
- Are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the device you want to pair?
- Those devices could interfere with the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth signal.
In the meantime, I recommend you visit the article Beginner's guide to the Nest thermostat, where you'll find sections explaining how to install and control your thermostat.
