SMS turning off location maps that sets it's self on my text messages

How do I turn off Map locations, when I send out text messages and say something where I'm going or a time about something it brings up a map location on the text messages. Don't show exact location I'm at or where I've been but it messes upy messages and not comfortable with it on there. I think I've turned everything off about any locations and it is still popping up. It's annoying! Thanks in

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

A few things: Is this under your phone’s Google assistant settings? To change the location check the steps below.  

Android:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, say "Hey Google, open Assistant settings." 
2. Tap You Your places.
3. Add, change, or delete an address.

Tip: You can also ask the Google Assistant to set your home and work locations.

iPhone:

1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Assistant app .
2. At the top right, tap your profile image or initial.
3. Tap You Your places. 
4. Add, change, or delete an address.
