Hi Lucu,

I’m sorry for the delay. Let’s sort this out — a few questions: is your lock’s privacy mode on? Are the batteries of your lock fresh and standard AA alkaline batteries?

Give these steps a try:

  1. Place 3 fingers on the display, or press on the Yale logo. The lock takes about a second to recognize this action.
  2. Make sure that the keypad screen is clean. If it's not, wipe with a clean and dry cloth.
  3.  Press the button on the interior lock to make sure Privacy Mode is disabled. You can also open the Nest app Nest app > tap Settings > Nest x Yale Lock > disable Privacy Mode.
  4. Check low or dead batteries. If your lock has an internet connection, the Nest app can let you know when your batteries are getting low. That should give you plenty of time to change them. But if the batteries are dead, you won’t be able to lock or unlock your door with the Nest app or the keypad. However, you can hold a 9-volt battery on the lock from outside your home to temporarily provide enough power to use your lock. Learn How to lock and unlock the Nest × Yale Lock if the battery is drained.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks,

JT

Hello janthadeus,

Thank you for your response.

My lock went offline a while  ago, and has been factory reseted multiple times and since then have  been imposible to get it connected or pair with the nest connect. The nest connect have been factory reseted multiples times too.

The touch screen works fine, we are able to lock and unlock the yale using the keypad.

The batteries were recently changed too.

The button on the back of the lock only turns blue after factory reset and as soon as the master code is entered wont turn blue any more and when is pressed the lock makes a sound kind as a ding dong.

I created a new home sctructure and added the nest connect suscessfully , butbthe lock follows the same pattern.

I try to add the lock using and old phone , with a hotspot , with bluethooth wifi on but in airplane mode with no success too.

Reseted my internet router to factory setting,no change on the lock , is like the bluethooth on the lock  couldnt pair with the connect.

You should be follow the guide lines that they provide you, you can again reset the system, if again the button light up it mean the error maybe in system of the lock. You can also read complete guide for this purpose go to website and read all the points more carefully. If it still have these issue you can contact with support it might be possible they can fix it. Sometime these type of errors occurs in new locks also but it's not big problem they are easily fixable things.

Thanks
