Assistant language

Google assistant replies sometimes in French when addressed in English. However only one language is set up: English

Be sure if the settings on the device only have one language. 😊

On my phone.

I checked all the settings on my phone and couldn't find French anywhere

• You can change or set the language for your Google Assistant on compatible devices using the steps mentioned in the following link. Also, could you please confirm the device type for which you are facing this issue ?
• Also, can you confirm if you purchased the device in a French speaking region ? If yes, then there can be a chance of the default language setting of the device set to French and when you are trying to override it to English it is not implemented.
