Hello - hopefully, I'm in the right forum. I have several Google nest speakers dotted around the house, linked with the Home app. I need to update my wi-fi details (new router) but do I need to individually 'forget then reinstall' every single device in my home network to make this update?

Unfortunately, Google Nest does not make it easy to update Wi-Fi settings on Google Nest devices. That's why their first recommendation is to set the network name (SSID) and password on your new router/modem to the same values you used on your old router/modem. (That's what we did when we got a new router/modem last year.). Otherwise, you need to remove each device from the Google Home app (or Google Nest app, if appropriate) and do a factory reset (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/10165378).

Kevin, with all due respect, you've just suggested that I try the annoying process that I'm looking for an alternative to. I like MplsCustomer's answer - seems like a good solution.
Thanks MplsCustomer for the info, and thank you both for taking the time to respond 🙂
