I am from India and have been using Google nest mini and other devices from years but have bored as other assistants have upgraded and Google assistant lacks in AI but noticed the recent Gemini post but it never shows up for me in app even after joining public preview I request Google to add this feature to make nest.mini compatible with this AI Era

Gemini isn't on Nest speakers yet: Currently, Google's Gemini rollout is heavily focused on mobile devices (smartphones). Nest Minis still run on the classic Google Assistant platform.

The "Public Preview" misconception: Joining the Public Preview updates features inside your Google Home app (like camera layouts and automations), but it doesn't change your speaker's underlying AI to Gemini.

Since this is a feature request, the most direct way to get the development team's attention is through your device. Please walk up to your Nest Mini and say: "Hey Google, send feedback," and let them know you want Gemini added to the Nest speaker lineup.

We live in the United States and Gemini is active on our Nest Hubs

Per the blog post below (linked to at the top of this forum page), Gemini is now accessible on these 16 additional countries:

* Europe: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom.

* Asia-Pacific: Australia, Japan, New Zealand.

That is in addition to the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

I'm just another Google Nest customer, and so have no idea how countries are chosen.
